Supported machines
The same device (Lucky Device) plugs into two families of machines. Its type is chosen at adoption: a machine that answers in SAS is adopted as a SAS machine; for a machine that does not answer, the back office offers to choose its pulse type (see Adding machines).
SAS machines
Section titled “SAS machines”Most recent slot machines speak the SAS 6.02 protocol. Lucky Touch uses it to:
| Feature | What you get |
|---|---|
| Credit and withdraw | The register credits the machine and withdraws its credit by electronic transfer, with the proof of what the machine really did. Partial withdrawal is allowed by default; a transfer is refused during a game. Settings: Paramètres → Réglages → Transferts (Settings → Settings register → Transfers). |
| Registration for transfers | A new machine must be registered before it accepts a transfer: the device does it by itself after adoption. Until it is, an alert says so. |
| Machine withdrawal button | When the player presses the machine’s withdrawal button, the credit goes to an open register; if none can take it, the machine goes into manual payment. |
| Meters | The device regularly reads the machine meters (in, out, games, manual payments, doors…); they feed machine accounting and the register ↔ meters check. |
| Manual payments | A win above the machine’s limit locks it: the device reports it, the register pays it, then the machine is released. |
| Games of a multi-game machine | The device reads the list of games, their name, denomination and meters; each title is renamed once in Exploitation → Jeux (Operations → Games) and appears in the Rapports → Jeux (Reports → Games) ranking. |
| Multi-denomination | Each game round keeps the game and the denomination chosen by the player. This denomination is used to trace the round; amounts are always computed with the machine’s accounting denomination. |
| Doors | Door openings and closings are shown on the device screen. |
Pulse machines
Section titled “Pulse machines”A pulse machine does not talk: the device reads its lines (meters, lamps, door) and drives its inputs as a coin acceptor or a key would. Lucky Touch supports three models, which do not handle money the same way:
| Bally S5500 | Bally V5500 | Sigma Poker | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Where the player’s credit is | In the device: the machine keeps none | In the machine | In the machine |
| Credit | The register credits the device; each player bet draws from it | The register credits; the player brings the credit down with the Transfert button (or direct deposit, depending on the setting) | Like the V5500 |
| Withdraw | At the counter, exact amount | By a manual payment: the cashier enters the amount read on the machine screen, then the device resets the machine | Like the V5500 |
| What is measured | Exact bets and wins, in and out, door, end of game | Bets and games (pulse value set), door | Bets and games (pulse value set) |
- A credited amount is always a multiple of the machine’s coin value; otherwise, the refusal offers the nearest multiple.
- A pulse manual payment can require a photo proof (venue setting): see Photo proof.
- Commissioning is done in test mode, with no player money: see Machine tests.
- The settings of the three models (proposed coin value, pulse durations, S5500 automatic play, Transfert button…) are in Paramètres → Réglages → Boîtiers (Settings → Settings register → Devices); see Venue settings.
- A pulse machine has no SAS meters, no games and no electronic transfers: the back office does not show these blocks for it, and says what is measured rather than zeros.
The brands mentioned (Bally, Sigma, Novomatic…) belong to their owners; Lucky Touch is not affiliated with any manufacturer.
