Manual payments
A manual payment is a win the machine does not pay itself: it blocks and waits for the player to be paid by hand. The payment is made at the register (see Manual payments at the register). The back office follows each manual payment, shows its proof, and gives operations the control actions.
SAS manual payments
Section titled “SAS manual payments”The tabs sort payments by state: À payer (To pay), Clé tournée (Key turned), Réclamés (Claimed), Réglés (Settled), Annulés (Cancelled), Rouverts (Reopened), Tous (All) (and Pulse, see below). Each row: Survenu (Occurred), Machine, Montant (Amount), Type, État (State), Caisse (Register), Dernier acteur (Last actor), Payé en (Paid in). The export button produces the manual payment log.
Click a row to open the record: machine, amount, type, register, payment mode, and the Étapes du paiement manuel (Manual payment steps: reported by the machine, attendant key turned, claimed, settled at the register…). A banner says whether it is Prêt à payer (Ready to pay).
Operations actions
Section titled “Operations actions”| Button | When | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Réclamer… (Claim…) | The attendant key does not come through. | The register will be able to confirm the payment without the key. Check the machine first. |
| Lever la réclamation… (Withdraw the claim…) | The payment is claimed. | It goes back to waiting for the attendant key. |
| Annuler… (Cancel…) | The payment is not settled. | It leaves the “to pay” queue. A settled payment is never cancelled. |
| Rouvrir… (Reopen…) | The payment is cancelled. | It becomes “to pay” again: it will get its key normally and can be cancelled again. |
| Corriger le mode de paiement… (Correct the payment mode…) | The payment is settled (administrator). | See Mode corrections. |
Each action asks for confirmation and is written to the audit log.
Pulse manual payments
Section titled “Pulse manual payments”The Pulse tab lists the manual payments of pulse machines: Survenu (Occurred), Machine, Montant (Amount), Origine (Origin), État (State), Preuve (Proof), Déclaré par (Declared by), Caisse (Register), Payé en (Paid in).
On a pulse machine, the payment is proved by photo: the tablet or the floor attendant scans the machine’s QR, then photographs the screen; the main register pays. The record shows:
- Preuve par photo (Photo proof): the photos (can be enlarged), who took them and when. A photo whose device time differs from the server’s time is flagged.
- Montant déclaré (Declared amount): the declared credits × the denomination, and any correction (before → after, who, reason).
- Vraisemblance (Plausibility): what the system knows about the machine (device balance for an S5500; drops since the last reset for a V5500 or a Sigma). An Écart signalé (Difference flagged) is never blocking on its own.
- Remise à zéro de la machine (Machine reset): sent, acknowledged, proved, or done by hand.
- The payment Chronologie (Timeline).
Blind entry
Section titled “Blind entry”If the venue has turned it on (setting Paiement manuel (pulse) : saisie à l’aveugle à la caisse, Manual payment, pulse: blind entry at the register, off by default, with photo proof required), the cashier types the credits she reads on the photo without seeing what the tablet declared. If her entry matches, the amount to pay is shown; otherwise, after the set number of attempts, the proof is cancelled and the tablet must take it again. It only concerns V5500 and Sigma machines (an S5500 measures the exact amount itself).
The back office record shows it in Saisie à l’aveugle à la caisse (Blind entry at the register): done by whom and when, or pending; the photos écartées (discarded photos) of cancelled proofs can still be viewed, separately.
Retry or close the reset
Section titled “Retry or close the reset”After the payment, the device resets the machine. If this reset is not proved:
- Relancer la remise à zéro… (Retry the reset…): only the reset order goes back to the device. Never a second payment: the player has already been paid.
- Clore sans remise à zéro… (Close without reset…) (reset suspended): no order goes to the device; you attest that you checked the machine on site (reset done by hand, or not needed).
Both ask for a Motif (Reason: what you checked on the machine).
A false manual payment
Section titled “A false manual payment”If electrical noise or a cable made it look like a manual payment that was not won, it is reset from the machine’s record: Réinitialiser (faux paiement manuel)… (Reset, false manual payment…) or Réinitialiser (faux jackpot)… (Reset, false jackpot…). See Pulse machines.
