Alerts

An alert says that a situation needs attention: a machine offline, silent meters, an unsettled manual payment, an uncertain transfer, an unfunded intake, a debt left open too long, a device to adopt, a failed backup… It appears on its own, and disappears on its own when the situation is fixed.

The list is sorted: unacknowledged alerts first, then by level (critique (critical), attention (warning), information), then by age. Each row shows the alert sentence, its level, how long it has lasted, and a link to the screen that fixes the situation (for example Résoudre (Resolve), Régulariser (Adjust), Ouvrir la créance (Open the debt), Ouvrir l’adoption (Open adoption), Ouvrir le paiement manuel (pulse) (Open the manual payment, pulse), Préparer la clôture de la journée (Prepare the day close)).

The tabs filter the list and show their count:

Tab Contents
Non acquittées (Unacknowledged) What nobody has seen yet (the default).
Toutes (All) Including acknowledged alerts, greyed out, whose situation is still going on.
Argent (Money) Money alerts: transfers, manual payments, intakes, debts, registers, safe…
Technique (Technical) The rest: machines, devices, reports…
Sauvegardes (Backups) Backup alerts.

Click an alert’s sentence to open its details in a panel on the right: level, machine, device, since when, amount, debt code, age, attempts, last result, and who acknowledged it.

Acknowledging says “I have seen it”: the alert turns grey and stays listed (Toutes (All) tab) as long as the situation lasts. Acknowledging fixes nothing: only resolving the situation makes the alert disappear.

  1. To acknowledge quickly: click Acquitter (Acknowledge) on the row.
  2. To leave a reason: open the alert, write the Motif (Reason) (“technicien appelé” (technician called), “client prévenu” (customer informed)… 200 characters at most), then click Acquitter (Acknowledge). The reason is written to the audit log with your name.

The row becomes “acquittée par Responsable C à 10:12:05 · non réglée” (acknowledged by Manager C at 10:12:05 · not fixed), followed by the reason. The header counts the alerts acknowledged today.

If the alert was fixed in the meantime, the back office shows Cette alerte n’est plus en cours (This alert is no longer active) and reloads the list: nothing was written. With no answer from the server, it says “l’acquittement a peut-être été enregistré” (the acknowledgement may have been saved): check the list before trying again.

  • Administrator, Operations, Supervisor: read and acknowledge.
  • Security: reads the venue alerts, without amounts or registers, and does not acknowledge.
  • Finance: reads the money alerts, without acknowledging.

Links only lead to screens your role can open.

In Settings, alerts group: Validité d’un acquittement (jours) (Acknowledgement validity, days), Motif obligatoire pour acquitter une alerte (Reason required to acknowledge an alert), Compteurs muets (min) (Silent meters, min), Paiement manuel non réglé (min) (Unsettled manual payment, min), Créance ouverte depuis (jours de 24 h) (Debt open for, 24-hour days), Remise de tablette en attente (min) (Tablet hand-in pending, min), Boîtier en attente d’adoption : alerte si vu depuis (h) (Device awaiting adoption: alert if seen for, h), Machine non mesurée depuis (journées) (Machine unmeasured for, days), Acquittement d’une machine non mesurée : durée maximale (jours) (Acknowledgement of an unmeasured machine: maximum duration, days).
