Inter-venue transfers
An owner with several venues can move cash from one safe to another. Each venue records its own side — even without Internet — with the slip code; the platform then matches the two sides and calculates what is in transit. Transit and matching are read in the online back office; the venue only knows its own side.
Before the first transfer
Section titled “Before the first transfer”- The venue must be linked to the platform (otherwise the Salle jamais rattachée à la plateforme (Venue never linked to the platform) banner says so, with a link to Paramètres → Plateforme, Settings → Platform) and its ISO currency filled in.
- An administrator creates the counterparty for each sister venue: Caisses → Coffre → Contreparties (Registers → Safe → Counterparties), Ajouter une contrepartie (Add a counterparty), type Salle sœur (Sister venue), then choose the venue from the list. Only the owner’s other venues, in the same currency, are offered.
Send to a sister venue
Section titled “Send to a sister venue”- Click Envoyer à une salle… (Send to a venue…).
- Choose the Salle destinataire (Destination venue), enter the Montant (Amount), a Commentaire (Comment) and, if you wish, the note count.
- Confirm Envoyer et imprimer le bordereau (Send and print the slip).
The screen shows the Code du bordereau (Slip code) in large type: it will be copied at reception. The printed slip carries both venues, the code, the amount in figures and in words, and signature boxes (handed over by, carried by, received by).
Receive from a sister venue
Section titled “Receive from a sister venue”- Click Recevoir d’une salle… (Receive from a venue…).
- Choose the Salle d’origine (Origin venue) and type the Code du bordereau (Slip code).
- Enter the Montant du bordereau (déclaré) (Slip amount, declared) and the Montant compté (Counted amount): the counted amount is what enters the safe. The difference is calculated live; if there is one, say what happened in the comment (required).
- Confirm Recevoir et imprimer le bordereau (Receive and print the slip).
A slip can only be received once. The origin venue can be offline: nothing requires knowing about the transfer.
The list of slips
Section titled “The list of slips”Bordereaux (Slips) tab, newest to oldest: Quand (When), Bordereau (Slip), Salle sœur (Sister venue), Montant (Amount), Écart (Difference), Solde avant → après (Balance before → after), Qui (Who). Filters: Sens (Direction: Envois (Sent), Réceptions (Received), Envois revenus (Brought back), Compléments (Top-ups)), Salle sœur (Sister venue), Rechercher un bordereau (Search for a slip). Each row has its actions:
| Action | When | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Faire revenir… (Bring back…) | A transfer did not leave (“le chauffeur n’est pas parti”, the driver did not leave). | The money comes back to the safe, under the same code. Reason required. |
| Complément retrouvé… (Top-up found…) | A reception (or a brought-back transfer) was counted with a shortfall, and the money has been found. | The money enters the safe; a loss declared here on this code is reversed by the same amount. It is the only action for found money. |
| Déclarer une perte… (Declare a loss…) | Administrator: money went missing on the way. | The loss closes the transit; it does not move any safe. |
| Rattacher à un autre code… (Attach to another code…) | Administrator: a reception was entered with the wrong code. | The reception takes the right code; the money does not move. |
Envoi déclaré après coup… (Transfer declared afterwards…) (administrator) is used when the database was restored from before a transfer: the transfer is declared from the paper slip; the safe is debited now.
Losses in transit
Section titled “Losses in transit”Pertes en transit (Losses in transit) tab: Quand (When), Bordereau (Slip), Côté (Side: sent / received), Montant (Amount), État (State: Demandées au propriétaire (Requested from the owner) or Déclarées (Declared)), Qui, pourquoi (Who, why). Can be exported.
Send requests
Section titled “Send requests”Demandes d’envoi (Send requests) tab: a venue must send money to a sister venue. Nothing moves before it is carried out.
- The administrator (or the owner, from the online back office) creates the request: Demander un envoi… (Request a transfer…).
- The venue’s operations carry it out (Exécuter… (Carry out…): a normal transfer for the requested amount, with its slip) or refuse it (Refuser…, Refuse…). The administrator can Annuler… (Cancel…) it.
- Filter: À exécuter (To carry out) or Toutes (All).
