Owner app FAQ
I do not receive any notifications
Section titled “I do not receive any notifications”In this order:
- Send yourself a test: Envoyer une notification de test (Send a test notification). The screen tells you whether “Ce téléphone reçoit vos notifications” (This phone receives your notifications).
- Check what you receive: the Ce que vous recevez (What you receive) (per venue) and Gravité (Severity) sections. During your quiet hours, only critical alerts make a sound; the others are summarised at the end of the period.
- On Android, open Recevoir les alertes application fermée (Receive alerts when the app is closed): some phones stop closed apps to save battery. Set Démarrage automatique (Auto-start), Optimisation de la batterie (Battery optimisation) and Notifications de l’application (App notifications), then Tester (Test) and close the app straight away.
- It works on 4G but not on Wi-Fi? This Wi-Fi network blocks Google’s notifications. It is neither the app nor the platform: ask the person who manages this Wi-Fi (or your technician) to read Notifications and Wi-Fi.
Notifications you have received can still be viewed: Voir les notifications reçues (See received notifications). The details of the settings are in Notifications.
The app signed me out
Section titled “The app signed me out”It shows for example “Cet appareil a été déconnecté de votre compte le 20/10/2026 à 14:02:37 (…)” (This device was signed out of your account on 20/10/2026 at 14:02:37 (…)). The part in brackets says why:
| The reason shown | What to do |
|---|---|
| signed out from the app or from “Mes appareils” (My devices) | You (or someone with your account) signed it out. Sign in again. |
| signed out by a manager — device lost | A manager signed it out. Sign in again if it was a mistake, otherwise see them. |
| app not opened for too long | Sign in again. |
| password, role or second factor changed | Sign in again with the new password. |
| account deactivated | See the owner or a company administrator. |
| closed for security — … | Sign in again; if it happens again, tell the owner. |
Before showing this message, the app erases everything it kept on the phone. See Install and sign in.
I have lost my phone (or it has been stolen)
Section titled “I have lost my phone (or it has been stolen)”Sign it out straight away, from another device:
- Yourself, from another signed-in phone: Réglages (Settings) → Mes appareils (My devices) → the lost device → Déconnecter (Sign out); or in the online back office, Mon compte (My account) → Mes appareils (My devices).
- A manager (the owner, or a company administrator for the accounts they manage): in the online back office, Compagnie (Company) → Personnes (People) → the person’s page → Appareils (Devices) → Appareil perdu… (Lost device…), with a reason. The device is signed out immediately, even if it is offline.
Even before it is signed out, the app does not open without your fingerprint, your face or the app code (App code and biometrics). See also Devices and people.
The phone of a shared register
Section titled “The phone of a shared register”A phone that is also used as a shared register does not keep the admin app signed in (“Caisse partagée : oui — connexion non gardée” (Shared register: yes — sign-in not kept) in Mes appareils (My devices)). See Shared register device?.
