Venue and shifts
The gaming day runs from the venue’s opening time to the same time the next day: everything that happens after midnight still belongs to the gaming day that started the day before. Shifts split that gaming day into named slices (“Jour”, “Soir”… — Day, Evening…): each money movement counts in the shift that contains its time, and the shift report says who held the register and how much each slice made.
The administrator makes changes; operations consult (Lecture seule, Read-only, banner) and choose the person on call.
Hours, time zone, currency
Section titled “Hours, time zone, currency”These settings live in Settings, section Salle (Venue); the Modifier les horaires → (Change the hours →) link (or Voir les horaires →, See the hours →) leads straight there.
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| Nom de l’établissement (Establishment name) | At the top of receipts and reports. |
| Fuseau horaire (Time zone) | Defines the gaming day and the times in all reports. |
| Heure d’ouverture (bascule de journée) (Opening time (gaming day rollover)) | The time at which one gaming day ends and the next one begins. A gaming day already frozen keeps its bounds. |
| Heure de fermeture (Closing time) | The displayed end of operations; it does not change the gaming day. |
| Symbole de devise (Currency symbol) | What receipts print and screens show (for example Ar). |
| Devise (code ISO 4217) (Currency (ISO 4217 code)) | Three letters (MGA for the ariary, EUR for the euro…): used to add up the venues of the same owner, without ever converting. It is entered once, then frozen. |
Split the gaming day into shifts (administrator)
Section titled “Split the gaming day into shifts (administrator)”The screen header restates the opening time, the closing time and the time zone. The Frise de la journée (Gaming day timeline) shows the split and updates as you type.
- The first shift always starts at opening time: only its name can be changed.
- For each following shift, give a name and a start time, between opening and closing time. There can be 1 to 8 shifts. Supprimer (Delete) removes a shift.
- Click Enregistrer (Save). A refusal is shown under the list, with its reason.
By default, the venue has a single shift, « Journée » (Day).
A gaming day already started keeps its split
Section titled “A gaming day already started keeps its split”A change applies from the next gaming day: the current gaming day keeps the split it started with, so that cashiers and reports do not change midway. The Journée en cours (Current gaming day) block shows the day’s actual split and whether it is already frozen.
To apply the new split right away, click Réappliquer à la journée en cours (Reapply to the current gaming day) and write a reason (5 to 150 characters). If this would rewrite movements that have already happened, the venue refuses and says so.
Person on call
Section titled “Person on call”If the Responsable de garde par shift (Manager on call per shift) setting is on (Settings → Ravitaillement, Refill), the Personne de garde (Person on call) block appears under the shifts: for each shift, operations choose who receives the registers’ refill requests first. The shift en cours (current shift) badge shows the person on call right now. With no person on call, all managers are notified, as before. See also Safe.
Setting off: a discreet line says where to turn it on.
