How it fits together
Lucky Touch rests on one rule: the venue server gives the orders, the device carries them out and proves them. Nobody credits a machine “by hand”. The register asks, the venue server sends the order, the device does it on the machine and sends back the proof of what really moved.

Section titled “The parts, and what each one does”| Part | Where it lives | Its job |
|---|---|---|
| Device (Lucky Device) | in each machine | Carries out the venue’s orders (credit, withdraw, reset), reads the meters, reports doors, games and manual payments, and sends back the proof of each operation. |
| Venue server | a PC in the venue | Holds the money, the machines, the registers, the safe, the accounts, the reports and the backups. It makes the decisions and keeps the history. |
| Register | register PC, tablet, phone | Takes money in, credits, withdraws, pays out, opens and closes. It talks only to the venue server. |
| Venue back office | a web browser on the venue network | Monitor, configure, check, report. |
| Platform | online | Brings together the venues of a company: online back office, company people, consolidated treasury, subscription. |
| Lucky Touch Admin | phone of the owner and the managers | All the venues in your pocket: alerts, live floor, money, notifications, remote approvals. |
Key points
Section titled “Key points”- No network settings. A plugged-in device finds the venue server on its own. So does a register: on the sign-in screen, Trouver le serveur de la salle (Find the venue server) looks for it on the network. Changing the router breaks nothing.
- The venue is in charge of its money. It works on its own, even if Internet is down for days. When the link comes back, it sends the platform what happened in the meantime, in order.
- The platform shows the state of the venue at a given time. Every online figure shows how fresh it is. A venue cut off from Internet keeps its last known figures, with the time of the last contact.
- An action taken remotely is carried out by the venue. From the online back office or the app, an action leaves as an order: the venue applies it with its own rules and can refuse it. Some actions need the venue to be online at that moment; others wait for it to come back and leave as “pending”.
- The owner app talks to the platform, never directly to the venue server. It works anywhere, on 4G as on Wi-Fi, for all the venues of the company.
- Updates come from above. The venue server updates with a button in the back office. The registers update from the server of their venue, with one tap.
The path of a credit
Section titled “The path of a credit”- At the register, the cashier picks the machine, the payment mode and the amount, then confirms. The customer’s money is taken in at that moment: it goes into the drawer (or, for mobile money, it is recorded outside the drawer).
- The venue server records the order, then sends it to the machine’s device.
- The device credits the machine and sends back the proof: the credit before, the credit after, what was really transferred.
- The register shows the verdict within a few seconds: credited, refused, or uncertain. Only the proven amount is counted on the machine. What did not go through stays with the customer (see How money works).
- Later, when Internet is up, the venue sends this movement to the platform: it appears in the online back office and in the owner app.
