Security alerts
Some operations on a venue are so sensitive that the platform reports them to the owner: for example a venue restored onto a new PC, or a new restore phrase set in the venue back office. They appear here for 7 days. If it was you or your team, there is nothing to do; if it was not you, say so right away: the platform blocks what was done.
The badge on the Alertes de sécurité (Security alerts) entry counts the open alerts. The same alerts arrive on the phone, with the “Ce n’est pas moi” (It wasn’t me) action (see Alerts in the app).
Read an alert
Section titled “Read an alert”Each card gives the venue (its name and its code), Quoi (What), Quand (When; to the second, in venue time), the time left if there is one, an explanation sentence and a state tag:
| Tag | What it means |
|---|---|
| À confirmer : est-ce vous ? (To confirm: was it you?) | A restore onto a new PC is waiting for your answer. |
| En délai (In waiting period) | A new restore phrase will only be valid at the end of the waiting period shown. |
| Valable (Valid; or Délai écoulé : valable — Waiting period over: valid, Valable tout de suite — Valid right away) | The restore phrase is in force. |
| Salle arrêtée : l’éditeur tranche (Venue stopped: the publisher decides) | The venue is stopped by the platform; the publisher decides what happens next. |
| Refusé : à éteindre (Refused: to switch off) | An old venue PC has been refused: it must be switched off. |
| Phrase retirée (Phrase withdrawn) | Someone said “Ce n’est pas moi”: the phrase is no longer valid. |
Relire (Reload) reloads the list. Empty list: Aucune alerte de sécurité (No security alerts).
“Ce n’est pas moi” (It wasn’t me)
Section titled ““Ce n’est pas moi” (It wasn’t me)”- On the alert, Ce n’est pas moi… (It wasn’t me…).
- Read the window: it recalls the venue, Quoi (What) and Quand (When).
- Motif — obligatoire (ce que vous savez) (Reason — required (what you know)): at least 5 characters.
- For a restore onto a new PC: type the venue code, then Arrêter la salle (Stop the venue). For a restore phrase: Retirer la phrase (Withdraw the phrase).
What happens:
- Restore onto a new PC: the venue is stopped by the platform — nothing syncs any more, and the online back office shows it « (arrêtée) » ((stopped)). The venue’s money keeps working on site. Only the publisher unblocks it, after setting aside the PC that is not yours: contact your reseller.
- Restore phrase: it is withdrawn and will never be used. Set a new one in the venue back office (Paramètres → Sauvegardes — Settings → Backups, see Backups and restore).
The action is recorded in the platform’s log with your name, the time and the reason.
“C’est bien moi” (It was me), “Vu” (Seen)
Section titled ““C’est bien moi” (It was me), “Vu” (Seen)”- C’est bien moi… (It was me…): you confirm that the operation was intended; the alert is closed. For a restore onto a new PC, the venue carries on with the new PC.
- Vu… (Seen…): on an information alert (for example “Ancien PC rallumé, refusé”, Old PC switched back on, refused), you say you have seen it, with a reason if you want to note one; it is closed but stays in the platform log. Vu settles nothing: what to do next is decided by the publisher. If the alert worries you, contact your reseller.
