Closing a gaming day freezes it: it no longer receives any entry dated on it. The close writes the arrêté JEU (gaming statement: the gaming result, machine by machine) and a numbered archive. An action that arrives afterwards (a late proof, a correction) is never refused: it is dated on the current day, with a note of its original day.

The month and the fiscal year are closed next, once all their days are. The general ledger must be open (see General ledger).

The screen has three tabs: Journées (Days), Mois et exercice (Month and fiscal year), Archives. The header gives the last closed day and whether automatic closing is on.

Close a day

1. Journées (Days) tab: the calendar shows each day (closed, reopened, to close, in progress, to come) and its result. Click a day to close.
2. The Journée du … (Day of …) panel prepares the close: the Blocages (Blocks), then the Aperçu de l’arrêté JEU (Gaming statement preview). When nothing blocks: Prête à clôturer (Ready to close).
3. Each block says the action that clears it: for example close the previous day first, decide an uncertain transfer, wait for the entries to be numbered. Some can be cleared with a reason: the machines concerned then become “not measured” — never an invented figure.
4. Click Clôturer la journée (Close the day), check the cleared blocks, then confirm.

Several days behind? Clôturer jusqu’au … (Close up to …) closes them in order, and the banner follows the clôture en chaîne (chain close).

Who does what

Closing and clearing an ordinary block: operations. Reopening a day: the administrator or the Operations role (not Supervisor). Clearing certain serious blocks, settling a voucher, rebuilding an archive: the administrator. Finance reads everything. The actions are done in the venue’s back office — or in the online back office, provided the venue is connected at that moment (venue offline: refused at once, never queued).

Remaining credits recorded

For a machine that does not publish its credits, the Crédits restants constatés (Remaining credits recorded) section lets you, once the day is over, declare what was left: on the machine (Crédits sur la machine, Credits on the machine) or on the device (Solde du boîtier, Device balance), with a reason (Déclarer les crédits (Declare the credits), or Arrêter le solde (Fix the balance) for a machine taken out). The screen then says whether the declaration was used for the statement.

Settle a voucher

A money voucher that will never be written to the general ledger (cleared without an entry) leaves its machine “not measured”. The administrator first posts, in the general ledger, the manual journal entry that records its effect, then clicks Solder la pièce (Settle the voucher), citing that entry.

Reopen a day

Only the last closed day can be reopened (otherwise the screen offers Rouvrir jusqu’au …, Reopen up to …). Reason required. The statement of that version is reversed; the day is then closed again as the next version, with a new archive — the first one remains. A day before the general ledger was opened, or closed before a database restore, cannot be reopened.

The month and the fiscal year

Mois et exercice (Month and fiscal year) tab, choose Mois (Month) or Exercice (Fiscal year).

• The month is closed when its days are closed: Blocages (Blocks), then Résultat de la période (Result for the period), then Clôturer le mois (Close the month) (administrator). Reopening it is reserved for the owner (Rouvrir le mois, Reopen the month), and only for the last closed month.
• The fiscal year is closed when its months are. No fiscal-year block can be cleared with a reason: each one is fixed at its source. The screen shows the Résultat de l’exercice (Result for the fiscal year) and the Écriture de résultat (aperçu) (Result entry, preview). Clôturer l’exercice (Close the fiscal year) is reserved for the owner, who retypes the year to confirm.
• Début d’exercice (Start of fiscal year): the owner can change it (Changer le début d’exercice, Change the start of fiscal year, the 1st of a month); the change applies to the next fiscal year.

The owner

When the venue is linked to the platform, these actions belong to the owner. A venue never linked shows it (L’administrateur décide, The administrator decides): the administrator then has these rights.

Archives

Archives tab: one row per version of each closed period, with its archive number, its Empreinte (Fingerprint), its creation date, the state of its file and its receipt by the Plateforme (Platform). Filters: État du fichier (File state) and Période (Period: “2026”, “2026-10” or “2026-10-05”).

• Download an archive to hand it to an inspector. In the online back office, a second factor is required, and only an archive already received by the platform can be downloaded.
• A missing file can be rebuilt (administrator, Reconstruire l’archive, Rebuild the archive); an archive that is present and compliant is authoritative and is not rebuilt.
• Archive numbers increase and are never reused.

On the accounting day

The accounting day recalls its close state (Journée clôturée (Day closed), Journée à clôturer (Day to close) with Préparer la clôture (Prepare the close), Journée rouverte (Day reopened)), the Arrêté JEU (Gaming statement) in force and the Actes tardifs (Late actions) received for a day already closed.
