Linking the venue
Linking the venue to the online platform makes it send a copy of its entries (money and machine activity): the owner can then follow all their venues in one place, in the online back office and in their app.
The venue remains sole master of its money: it keeps doing everything without the Internet, and whatever could not be sent goes later.
The administrator links and unlinks; operations view the status, with no buttons.
Link the venue (administrator, once)
Section titled “Link the venue (administrator, once)”You need a linking code, which the owner gets in the online back office (Compagnie → Salles → « Ajouter une salle », Company → Venues → “Add a venue”). The code can be used only once, for 24 h. The venue PC must reach the Internet and be on the right time.
- Open Paramètres → Plateforme (Settings → Platform), card Rattacher la salle (Link the venue).
- Enter the Code de rattachement (Linking code): 8 characters in the
XXXX-XXXXformat, upper or lower case, with or without the dash. Codes never use 0, O, 1, I or L: if you type one, the screen tells you before anything is sent. - If the venue has no currency yet, choose the Devise de la salle (Venue currency): the same one the owner chose when adding the venue.
- Click Rattacher (Link). Linking takes up to a minute: do not close the page.
- The En attente de la confirmation du propriétaire (Waiting for the owner’s confirmation) card appears: the owner (or one of their administrators) must say « C’est bien ma salle » (This is my venue) in the online back office, in Compagnie → Salles (Company → Venues).
- Within a minute of their confirmation, the company’s people and their PINs arrive in the venue.
Link status
Section titled “Link status”The État de la synchronisation (Sync status) card sums up the link with a label and a sentence (no amount appears there):

A red label (for example « Synchronisation arrêtée », Sync stopped, or « Arrêtée par la plateforme », Stopped by the platform) needs action: call your technician or the vendor, without unlinking the venue.
Further down, the screen details the link (venue code, last contact), pending sendings, sync alerts, the Historique de la liaison (Link history), and the Fait depuis le BO en ligne (Done from the online back office) list: the actions taken online by the company’s people and applied here, with who, what, when, and their outcome. They also appear in the audit log with the note « depuis le BO en ligne » (from the online back office).
Back up the venue’s secrets (administrator)
Section titled “Back up the venue’s secrets (administrator)”Linking creates secrets on the venue PC that never leave it. If that PC has to be reinstalled, the technician needs them: so you must keep a backup of them outside the venue. The Sauvegarde des secrets de la salle (Venue secrets backup) card says when the last one was made, and shows a reminder when it needs to be done again.
- Click Sauvegarder les secrets… (Back up the secrets…) (or Refaire la sauvegarde…, Redo the backup…).
- Choose a Phrase de passe (Passphrase) that follows the rules shown, and enter it twice.
- Enter Votre mot de passe (Your password) again.
- Click Télécharger le fichier chiffré (Download the encrypted file).
- Store the file on a USB stick kept outside the venue (or in a safe), never on the venue PC itself.
- Write down the passphrase in your password manager: it is kept nowhere, and without it the file cannot be opened.
This backup is done in the back office of the venue only: the venue’s secrets never go through the platform.
Unlink the venue
Section titled “Unlink the venue”Détacher la salle… (Unlink the venue…) (administrator, reason required) cuts the link: the platform no longer receives anything. You only unlink to change the platform address or replace the venue PC, then you link again with a new code.
