Why this number?
Lucky Touch figures always say where they come from and how certain they are. An unknown figure is never replaced by a zero, an unfinished day is called “provisoire” (provisional), and a correction never rewrites the past.
“non mesuré” (not measured)
Section titled ““non mesuré” (not measured)”An amount that cannot be calculated is shown as “non mesuré” (not measured), never 0. Most often, a machine’s meters were not read (device offline, machine switched off at the time of the reading).
- A total that does not cover all machines says so: “Résultat non mesuré : compteurs lus sur … machines” (Result not measured: meters read on … machines), or a partial total that names the machines left out of the sum.
- A closed day with unmeasured machines says so in its arrêté JEU (gaming statement): “produit partiel : N machines non mesurées, leur solde reste au compte des avoirs des joueurs” (partial yield: N machines not measured, their balance stays in the players’ holdings account). The day’s gaming yield then counts only the measured machines. The others’ yield is not lost: their balance waits in the players’ holdings account, and it enters the arrêté JEU of the next day on which the machine is measured (“arrêté au prochain jour mesuré”, settled on the next measured day, says the Period closes screen).
What to do: check the machines concerned (Device troubleshooting), then read the report again later.
“provisoire” (provisional)
Section titled ““provisoire” (provisional)”The current gaming day is not finished: any figure that includes it is provisional and can still change (a transfer being settled, a mode correction). A period (month, fiscal period) in which a day is not yet closed is also “provisoire” (provisional). The figure becomes final when the day is closed. See Period closes.
The day is closed, and yet something has changed
Section titled “The day is closed, and yet something has changed”A closed day is locked: nothing more is written on its date. An action taken afterwards on an operation of that day (a late proof, a mode correction, a regularisation) is never refused: it is dated to the open day, with the note acte tardif — journée du … (late action — day of …). The closed day’s report, for its part, does not change: it is archived, and sending it again gives the archived version.
To really correct a closed day, operations staff or the administrator reopen it (Rouvrir la journée… (Reopen the day…), with a reason); you always reopen the latest closed day first. A closed fiscal year is never reopened: you correct in the following fiscal year.
The figures of two venues do not add up
Section titled “The figures of two venues do not add up”Each venue counts in its own currency. In the online back office, the company’s treasury and results are shown per
currency, never converted: a venue in Ar and a venue in another currency each have their own card, with no common total.
See Group treasury.
The register takings do not match the meters
Section titled “The register takings do not match the meters”This is normal in the short term: the register counts the money coming in and going out at the counter, the meters count what the machine has played. Between the two, there are credits left in the machines, device balances, intake remainders and open debts: the player balances. The Comptabilité (Accounting) → Fonds et avoirs (Floats and player balances) screen details them, with the Caisse ↔ compteurs (Register ↔ meters) view and the discrepancies to be explained. See Floats and player balances.
A negative amount
Section titled “A negative amount”A negative amount is shown as it is, with its sign: −777,000 Ar for a day when the venue paid out more than it took in. This is not an error. In a table that contains negative values, a “share of the total” as a percentage no longer makes sense: read the amounts.
A complimentary payment is not in the takings
Section titled “A complimentary payment is not in the takings”A payment in a complimentary mode does credit the machine, but it is not in takings: it does not count in the takings. It is tracked separately (Offerts (Complimentary) report). The meaning of a mode (cash or not, in takings or not) is fixed on each movement: changing a mode in the back office does not change the history, only what comes next. See Payment modes.
A register discrepancy
Section titled “A register discrepancy”The discrepancy counted when a register is closed stays visible as long as no decision is made (loss, gain, deduction, to be investigated) in Comptabilité (Accounting) → Fonds et avoirs (Floats and player balances) → Écarts de caisse (Register discrepancies). See Money discrepancies.
