Settings

In Lucky Touch, a venue rule is not hard-coded: it is set here. Limits, alert delays, register options, documents, printing, backups… each setting has a label, a help text, a default value and, where relevant, bounds and a unit. Everything is set in the back office, with no terminal.

The administrator changes settings. Operations (operations, supervisor) consult them: a Lecture seule (Read-only) banner says so, and values are shown as text, with no buttons.

Settings are filed by Sections, in the left column (on a phone, the Section list): Salle (Venue), Caisse (Register), Mots de la caisse (Register wording), Coffre (Safe), Ravitaillement (Refill), Transferts (Transfers), Boîtiers (Devices), Alertes (Alerts), Rapports (Reports), Impression (Printing), Sécurité (Security), Sauvegardes (Backups), Plateforme (Platform)… Within each section, subheadings group related settings (for example Rapports → Documents, Rapports → État fiscal, Reports → Tax statement).

Many screens lead straight to the right setting through a link (Paramétrer →, Set up →; Régler le seuil →, Set the threshold →); an audit log line about a setting also opens it, highlighted.

At the top of the screen, two shortcuts: Imprimantes : état et test → (Printers: status and test →) and Boutons de montants → (Amount buttons →).

  1. Open the section and change the value. The field is marked modifié (changed); the counter at the top of the screen says how many changes are not saved yet.
  2. To go back before saving: Annuler ce changement (Undo this change) (one field) or Annuler (Cancel) (the whole section). To go back to the software’s original value: Remettre la valeur par défaut (Restore the default value).
  3. Click Enregistrer la section (Save the section).

The venue checks the whole section before writing: if one value is refused (out of bounds, inconsistent with another), nothing is written, and the reason is shown under the field concerned.

Some complex settings have their own editor, never technical text: Register wording, the closing receipt and the X report, the day closing sheet, the tax statement levies, the mobile money statement formats, the payment modes to tick.

Under each setting, the last change: the old value struck through → the new one, by whom, on which day (or « aucun changement enregistré », no change recorded). The Historique (History) link opens all its changes, newest first. Each change is also recorded in the audit log.

A few settings are shown greyed out, with no field: they were entered at installation, or they come from the company’s platform. Their reason is written next to them. For example, the Devise (code ISO 4217) (Currency (ISO 4217 code)) is entered once, then frozen: changing it is an action for the vendor.
