Tax statement

The tax statement calculates the levies due on gaming income: one line per tax period and per levy. The rules (which levies, at what rate, on what base) depend on your country and your licence: you set them. Lucky Touch never makes up a rate.

  1. From the Fiscal screen, click Paramétrer → (Set up →) (or open Settings, group Rapports (Reports), section État fiscal (Tax statement)).
  2. État fiscal : activé (Tax statement: enabled): Oui (Yes).
  3. État fiscal : périodicité (Tax statement: frequency): Mensuelle (Monthly), Trimestrielle (Quarterly), Semestrielle (Half-yearly) or Annuelle (Yearly) (yearly = the fiscal year). The statement splits the requested range into fiscal periods; a period still under way is marked “provisoire” (provisional). Left on Non réglée (Not set), the frequency splits nothing: the statement covers the requested range as a single block.
  4. État fiscal : libellé du formulaire (form label) and référence du formulaire (form reference): the title and reference of the tax authority, printed on the statement.
  5. État fiscal : prélèvements (Tax statement: levies): one line per levy (10 at most) — a label, the rate in %, the base and, if you wish, the general ledger account. Leave a rate that is not known yet empty: the statement will say “taux non paramétré” (rate not set) rather than show a wrong amount.
  6. Save.

The three possible bases:

  • Produit brut des jeux par les compteurs (net win) (Gross gaming income from the meters (net win));
  • Recette caisse (Register takings) (register money in minus money out: withdrawals, manual payments that occurred, counter payouts; complimentary excluded);
  • Mises par les compteurs (Bets from the meters).

Operations and finance read these settings but cannot change them.

  1. Open Fiscal.
  2. Choose the period: a shortcut (Mois en cours (Current month), Mois précédent (Previous month), Trimestre écoulé (Last quarter), Exercice (Fiscal year)) or gaming day dates.
  3. Read the preview, then click Exporter (Export) and choose the format.

An amount that cannot be calculated says so (rate not set, base not measured or partial): never a zero in its place. A tax period not yet over is marked provisoire (provisional).
