Machines

Machines is the inventory of the floor: every machine in the venue, its device, its denomination and its groups. Clicking a row opens its record, where you follow the machine live, read its meters and send commands to its device.

  • Rechercher (Search) by number, asset number or serial number.
  • Filter by Fabricant (Manufacturer), Groupe (Group), Famille (Family: SAS or Pulse) and État (State): Toutes (All), En ligne (Online), Hors ligne (Offline), À surveiller (To watch), Sans boîtier (No device).
  • Adopter un boîtier (Adopt a device) opens the pending devices.
  • The export menu produces the Inventaire du parc (Floor inventory) as PDF, Excel or CSV: the state of the floor at that moment.

For the administrator only:

  • Fabricants et groupes… (Manufacturers and groups…): add or rename a manufacturer, create a machine group (name, description, machines), edit it or delete it. Groups serve as filters and sections on Live floor and in the reports.
  • Créer une machine… (Create a machine…): by hand (number, asset number, serial number, machine type). The normal path is still adopting a device.

The record header has links to Transferts de cette machine (This machine’s transfers), Paiements manuels de cette machine (This machine’s manual payments) and Boutons de montants (Amount buttons) (and, for a V5500 or a Sigma, Transferts du joueur de cette machine, This machine’s player transfers). The tabs:

Tab Contents
Vue d’ensemble (Overview) The État en direct (Live state), the Enregistrement AFT (73) (AFT registration (73)), the Commandes du boîtier (Device commands), and the machine’s result as a mini chart (for roles that read money).
Compteurs (Meters) The meters for one day, the reconciliation, the breaks, the raw log of readings.
Parties (Games played) The games played (SAS).
Jeux (Games) The machine’s games (SAS). See Machine games.
Événements (Events), Tests For a pulse machine. See Pulse machines and Machine tests.
Boîtier (Device) The attached device: firmware, last contact, serial read, asset number read, adoption date. A badge flags a replacement to confirm.
Paramètres (Settings) The machine’s identity and settings.
Journal (Log) Who did what on this machine, with the reason.

État en direct (Live state) shows the state, the Crédit courant (Current credit) (or the Solde du boîtier, Device balance), the game in progress, the last game, the last event, the pending manual payment, the SAS link, the transfer in progress, the Dernier contact (Last contact) and the Derniers compteurs (Latest meters).

Enregistrement AFT (73) (AFT registration (73)) says whether the machine accepts money transfers. Registration is automatic after adoption. If the machine refused it, the banner Cette machine refusera les transferts (This machine will refuse transfers) appears and the Enregistrer (Register) button lets you try again; the result arrives live.

Each command shows its acknowledgement live: publiée — accusé attendu (sent — awaiting acknowledgement), reçue — résultat attendu (received — awaiting result), then acceptée (accepted) or refusée (refused) with the device’s sentence. With no acknowledgement within 30 s, the screen says the device may be offline or restarting.

Button Effect
Relever les compteurs (Read the meters) Asks for a meter reading straight away.
Relire le paiement manuel (Re-read the manual payment) Re-reads the pending manual payment on the machine.
Remettre le paiement manuel à zéro… (Reset the manual payment…) Asks the machine to clear the pending manual payment. Do this only once it has been settled.
Renvoyer la configuration (Resend the configuration) Sends its settings to the device again.
Réinitialiser… (Reinitialise…) The device re-reads the machine’s identity (serial, asset number, denomination, AFT registration) without restarting.
Redémarrer le boîtier… (Restart the device…) The device restarts. It refuses on its own during a money transfer: nothing is lost.
Lever « en jeu »… (Clear “in play”…) Visible only when the machine is “in play”. See below.
Écran du boîtier (Device screen) — line 1, line 2, Afficher (Display) Shows a message of 16 characters per line on the device screen.

A pulse machine only has Renvoyer la configuration (Resend the configuration) and Redémarrer le boîtier… (Restart the device…).

Some machines do not always report the end of a game: they stay “in play” and the register refuses to credit them for a few minutes.

  1. Check on site that the game really is over. If a player is still playing, do not clear it: the machine refuses a credit during a game.
  2. On the record, Vue d’ensemble → Commandes du boîtier (Overview → Device commands), click Lever « en jeu »… (Clear “in play”…).
  3. Write the Motif (Reason) (required: why the game is over), then confirm.

The action is refused while a credit or a withdrawal is in progress. If the device is not up to date, the screen says it will stop blocking on its own a few minutes after the game started.

Choose the day. The tab shows the Mises (coin in) (Bets, coin in), Gains (coin out) (Wins, coin out), Jackpots payés main (Jackpots paid by hand), the Résultat mesuré (Measured result) and the number of Parties (Games played), then the meter table (opening, closing or current value, difference, amount) and the Réconciliation (Reconciliation) between meters and register.

Actions (operations):

  • Saisir un relevé… (Enter a reading…): type in by hand the meters read on the machine.
  • Déclarer une rupture… (Declare a break…): date a jump in the meters (RAM clear, Remplacement de machine ou d’EPROM (Machine or EPROM replacement), Changement de dénomination (Denomination change), Autre (manuel) (Other, manual)) with a required text. Each segment keeps its earlier values (Ruptures de compteurs, Meter breaks section).
  • Afficher chaque relevé (Show every reading): the raw log for the day.

The export button opens the meters report filtered on this machine.

The machine’s games, filtered on Toutes (All), Dernière heure (Last hour) or 24 dernières heures (Last 24 hours): end, game and denomination played, Mise (Bet), Gain (Win), Jackpot, Crédit après (Credit after). A badge flags games that were added together when a reading was skipped.

Identité et réglages (Identity and settings): machine number, asset number, serial number, manufacturer, Dénomination (Denomination), game, max bet, Limite de transfert (Transfer limit), Lecture des jeux (Game reading), groups, Mise en service (Commissioning) date.

The administrator can Modifier la fiche (Edit the record) (every change is written to the audit log). Changing the denomination dates a meter break and asks for a new reading. The machine’s Limite de transfert (Transfer limit) never raises the venue’s limit: the stricter of the two applies.

Zone réservée (Restricted area): deleting a machine is only possible if it has no history (transfers, readings, games played…). Otherwise, the server refuses and says why.

Every decision taken on the machine: Quand (When), Qui (Who), Ce qui s’est passé (What happened), Avant → après (Before → after), Motif (Reason). Tick Inclure les événements techniques (boîtier) (Include technical events, device) to also see what the device reported.
