The register on a phone

It is the same register app, with the same actions and the same permissions: only the layout changes. It takes the “phone” layout on a narrow screen, and also on a phone held sideways (a wide but short screen). On a tablet or a computer, see The main screen.

At the bottom of the screen, four tabs replace the computer’s columns:

Tab What it contains
Machines the search by machine number (it stays at the top when you scroll) and the machine tiles
Opération (Operation) the current operation: choice of operation, steps, keypad, verdict
À traiter (To do) the notifications to handle and their history; the number on the badge
Tiroir (Drawer) (register) or Plafond (Ceiling) (tablet) your balance, its details, and the buttons for all the other screens

Tapping a tile picks the machine for the operation. The alert banners (register low, intake remainder, offline…) stay above every tab.

  • the title says where you are: the operation and the machine (“Créditer · D-01”, Credit · D-01), “À traiter”, “Tiroir”, or the name of the register;
  • during an operation, Annuler (Cancel) on the left abandons it;
  • on the right, the live indicator (the coloured dot) and the time to the second (14:32:05). The phone has no status bar at the bottom: this indicator tells you whether the link with the venue server is live (see When the link drops).

Tiroir (Drawer) tab: Espèces disponibles (Available cash), the drawer details, the Grand livre (Ledger) and Rapport X (X report) links, then one button per screen: Grand livre (Ledger), Historique des transferts (Transfer history), Historique des paiements manuels (Manual payment history), Encaissements en cours (Intakes in progress), Créances à payer (Debts to pay), Mon historique (My history), Tablettes (Tablets), Impression (Printing), Coffre (Safe), Ouverture (Opening), Clôture (Closing).

Each secondary screen has the Retour caisse (Back to register) button at the top right.

  • Permissions do not depend on the screen: a tablet keeps the tablet view, even on a computer; a main register keeps all its actions, even on a phone.
  • Amounts are typed on the same keypad; at closing, the counted total and the Vérifier le comptage (Check the count) button stay fixed at the bottom of the screen while you enter the denominations.
  • The photos of a manual payment proof can only be taken on a phone or a tablet, never on a computer (see Pulse manual payment: photo proof).
  • A plugged-in keyboard also works: the “+” key picks Créditer (Credit), the “−” key picks Retirer (Withdraw); pressing the same key a second time confirms.
