The main screen

Everything is done from a single screen: you pick a machine, an operation, you follow the steps, and the drawer updates by itself. The screen is driven live by the venue server: there is no “refresh” button.

Area What you find there
Header The logo, the time to the second, and the À traiter (To do) badge with the number of things waiting (it turns red and blinks when money is waiting).
Screen menu Grand livre (Ledger), Transferts (Transfers), Paiements manuels (Manual payments), Encaissements (Intakes), Créances (Debts), Historique (History), Tablettes (Tablets), Impression (Printing), Coffre (Safe), Clôture (Closing). When there is not enough width, the last ones fold under Autres · N (Others · N). An entry shows what is waiting: “Créances · 2”.
Left: the machines The N° machine (Machine no.) field, the En ligne (Online) filter, then one tile per machine.
Centre: the operation The row of operations, the card of the chosen machine, then the steps.
Right: the drawer and “À traiter” The drawer (Espèces disponibles, Available cash), then the notifications.
Status bar (at the bottom) The state of the link and your register, the app version.

Each tile shows the machine number, its credit in real time (as the device reads it) and its state. A credit of 0 stays discreet; a credit present stands out. Tapping a tile picks the machine for the current operation.

State What it means
prête (ready) The machine accepts a credit or a withdrawal.
en jeu (in play) A game is in progress. The state clears by itself five minutes after the last game start.
paiement manuel (manual payment) The machine is waiting for a manual payment.
clé tournée (key turned) The attendant has turned the key: the manual payment must be settled now.
porte ouverte (door open) No transfer is possible while the door is open.
SAS coupée (SAS cut) The device no longer talks to the machine.
hors ligne (offline) The device no longer answers: an order will wait for it to come back.
transfert… (transfer…) An order is in progress on the machine.
pas prête (not ready) The machine cannot be used yet (missing setting).
non enregistrée (not registered) The machine is not yet registered for transfers.
EN TEST (IN TEST) A technician is commissioning the machine: no credit.

A coin (pulse) machine also shows its type (S5500, V5500, Sigma) and, for an S5500 whose auto-play is running, the auto badge. See Coin (pulse) machines.

N° machine searches for part of the number, anywhere, ignoring capitals and dashes: “01” finds “D-01”. The cross clears the search. En ligne hides the machines whose device does not answer.

On a main register: Créditer (Credit), Retirer (Withdraw), Paiement manuel (Manual payment), Sortie comptoir (Counter payout), Ravitaillement (Refill), Plafond tablette (Tablet ceiling), Geler une tablette (Freeze a tablet). On a tablet, only those the venue allows it, plus Demander la remise (Request hand-in).

Each operation goes through numbered steps (for example Machine, Mode de paiement (Payment mode), Montant (Amount), Vérifier (Check), Verdict). A completed step is summed up above; tapping it goes back to it. The Vérifier step shows the direction of the operation: “+ CRÉDIT” (+ CREDIT) in green for money coming in, “− RETRAIT” (− WITHDRAWAL) in the colour used for money going out.

The card of the chosen machine shows its number, its Crédit machine (Machine credit), its state and the Échap — abandonner (Esc — abandon) button.

The Espèces disponibles (Available cash) block gives the amount in the drawer. Détail (Details) unfolds its lines (opening float, intakes, withdrawals, refills…). Two links: Grand livre (Ledger) and Rapport X (X report). During a reconnection, the amount is marked “peut-être périmé — reconnexion en cours” (may be out of date — reconnecting). If the venue hides balances, one tap reveals them: see Hidden balances.

The panel has two tabs: À traiter · N (To do · N: what is waiting for an action) and Historique (History: what has been handled). Each notification shows its time, its machine and, where relevant, its button:

Notification What to do
Clé tournée (Key turned) — “Paiement manuel à régler maintenant.” (Manual payment to settle now.) Payer (Pay)
“Cash-out joueur” (Player cash-out) — “À remettre en main propre. Le tiroir est déjà débité.” (To hand over in person. The drawer has already been debited.) Remis au joueur (Handed to the player), or Autre mode (Other mode)
Créance à payer (Debt to pay) Ouvrir les créances (Open debts)
Référence à saisir (Reference to enter) Saisir la référence (Enter the reference)
Remise à confirmer (Hand-in to confirm) Ouvrir les remises (Open hand-ins)
Transfert incertain (Uncertain transfer) — “Ne recréditez pas.” (Do not credit again.) Voir la preuve (See the proof)
Caisse basse (Register low) Demander un ravitaillement (Request a refill)
Paiement manuel signalé (Manual payment reported) (coin machine) Voir le détail (See details)
Ticket non imprimé (Receipt not printed) Réimprimer (Reprint)
Transfert refusé (Transfer refused), Demande exécutée (Request carried out), Correction validée (Correction approved)… Accuser réception (Acknowledge)

When the panel is empty: “Rien à traiter.” (Nothing to do.) followed by what will arrive here.

Above the work, a banner says what cannot wait, each with its label: Hors ligne (Offline: reconnecting to the venue server), Incertain (Uncertain: a transfer not confirmed), Reste (Remainder: an intake still has a remainder), Anomalie (Anomaly: an unfunded intake), Créances (Debts: a debt waiting for several days), Caisse basse (Register low), Tablette (Tablet), Remise (Hand-in), Écart (Variance), and Obligatoire (Required) when a register update is imposed.

At the bottom of the screen (on a computer or a large tablet):

  • on the left, the link — ● Temps réel (Real time), or ● Reconnexion… (Reconnecting…) — then your register: “Caisse de … · ouverte à 08:02:15” (Register of … · opened at 08:02:15);
  • on the right, the app version, with an indicator: à jour (up to date), mise à jour disponible (update available) or mise à jour obligatoire (update required). See Register updates.

On Windows and Linux, the header carries the window buttons: Plein écran (Full screen) (or Quitter le plein écran, Exit full screen), minimise, maximise and close. Dragging the header moves the window; a double-click maximises it. On a narrow window, the Plein écran button disappears.

At the register, with a keyboard:

Key Effect
+ Picks Créditer (Credit); a second press confirms the step.
− Picks Retirer (Withdraw); a second press confirms the step.
Enter Confirms the current step.
Esc Abandons the operation.
← / → Previous / next step.
Digits The step’s keypad (the key lights up).

The + and − keys also work on a tablet or a phone with a keyboard plugged in. No shortcut acts while you are typing in a text field.
