Hidden balances
Someone looking over your shoulder must not be able to read the register’s money. By default, balances are shown
hidden — •••••• Ar — with an eye next to them. One tap on the amount reveals it for a few seconds, then it is hidden
again.
What is hidden
Section titled “What is hidden”The drawer’s Espèces disponibles (Available cash), and the lines of its details.
The Plafond disponible (Available ceiling) and the Espèces collectées (Cash collected). Each one is revealed on its own: tapping the ceiling does not reveal the cash.
The same balances, in the Tiroir (Drawer) tab (main register) or at the top of the Machines tab and in the Plafond (Ceiling) tab (tablet).
Sentences that would quote a balance are hidden with it: a tablet’s banner says “… — des espèces restent à remettre : déconnexion impossible” (… — cash still to hand in: cannot sign out) instead of the amount, and a register-low alert does not give the figure. The X report is hidden like the drawer details; Afficher les montants (Show the amounts) reveals it.
Always shown in clear: the amounts of an operation (the amount you type, the verdict of a transfer, the receipt, a ledger line, the amount to hand to the player) and refusal messages, long enough to read them. A balance is hidden, never an action in progress.
Reveal a balance
Section titled “Reveal a balance”- Tap the amount (or the eye). On the keyboard: Enter or Space.
- It stays readable for the delay set by the venue (10 seconds by default), then hides itself. If it changes during that time, it is updated in clear.
- A second tap while it is shown hides it again straight away.
Set it
Section titled “Set it”Two venue settings, in the back office (Paramètres → Réglages, Settings → Settings, “caisse” (register) group, see Settings):
