Audit log

Every decision taken in the venue leaves a line: a setting changed, an account created, a PIN set, a sign-in refused, a transfer resolved by hand, a register closed with a discrepancy, a safe movement, an alert acknowledged… The log is there to rebuild the story: who, when, what, the before and after, and the reason.

Each line gives:

  • Quand (When): the date and time to the second;
  • Qui (Who): the person and their role at the time of the decision; an action taken from the online back office carries the note « depuis le BO en ligne » (from the online back office);
  • Décision (Decision): a plain sentence, with names (of people, machines, registers), never a technical number;
  • Avant → après (Before → after): what changed.

One click opens the details: category, target object (with a link to it), machine, Motif (Reason), before → after.

Lines go from newest to oldest.

  1. Période (journées de jeu) (Period (gaming days)): one gaming day or a range.
  2. Catégorie (Category): Paramètres, Comptes, Connexions, Transferts, Paiements manuels, Caisses et tablettes, Encaissements et créances, Coffre, Comptabilité, Parc et boîtiers, Alertes, Système (Settings, Accounts, Sign-ins, Transfers, Manual payments, Registers and tablets, Intakes and debts, Safe, Accounting, Fleet and devices, Alerts, System) — each tab gives its number of lines.
  3. Auteur (Author): one person. Type: one specific action.
  4. Rechercher dans le journal (Search the log): a name, a machine number, a word from the reason or the sentence.
  5. With no category chosen, technical events (devices, printing, e-mails…) are hidden: tick Inclure les événements techniques (Include technical events) to see them.

You can also reach the log already filtered from other screens: a machine’s History tab, an account’s record, a setting’s history.

Choose a period, then click PDF, Excel or CSV at the top of the screen: the file uses the same filters. An export holds up to 20,000 lines; beyond that, shorten the period.
